The Age of Autism movie: Does the Story of Autism really begin in the late 1930s? The first official case, little Donald T., was diagnosed by Dr. Leo Kanner, who is generally considered one of the first medical practitioners to define the field of study. He published the seminal groundbreaking report, Autistic Disturbances.
This project fuses the observations of the past and the tools of the present to paint a broader picture of what Autism meant then, and what it means now.
